The University of Applied Sciences welcomes new Erasmus+ students
The International Cooperation Office of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa organized the Adaptation Day for Erasmus+ students, who are about to start their studies at the Nysa University. In the winter term 2021/22, the University of Nysa will host 23 students from countries like Indonesia, Mexico, Russia, Kosovo, Turkey, Spain, Ukraine, Morocco, and Albania. They will realize their Erasmus+ mobility in the fields of management and production engineering, English philology, finance and accounting, architecture, and computer science.
The Adaptation Day is an excellent opportunity for the students to get familiar with basic information about the University, rules of studying, regulations, rights, duties, and aspects of life in Poland. An essential part of the event was also the meetings with the Institute's International Co-ordinators regarding courses taught in English.
After the formal part, the International Cooperation Office staff and student Tutors prepared several activities and integration games. In the following week, Eramus+ students will participate in many integration events such as a trip around Nysa, a bowling tournament, and a presence in the official inauguration of the academic year 2021/22.
International students make a significant contribution to the opening up of new cultures, add variety to the academic community of Nysa and contribute to the development of internationalization and education in foreign languages.
We wish the incoming Erasmus+ students a successful learning experience and a wonderful stay at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa!
