From 21st till 24th of April 2016 three delegates from Nysa visited Ternopil in Ukraine. The University of Applied Sciences in Nysa was represented by Mrs. Anna Opałka, M.Sc. - Head of the External Relations Department and Mr. Łukasz Gadomski from Research and Development Centre for Renovation and Conservation. One of the delegates was also Mrs. Ołena Nesen - representative of Nysa Municipality.
The main aim of this visit was participation in Ternopil Educational Fairs, promotion of the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa and its offer, meetings with candidates interested in studying at UAS in Nysa and their parents as well as partner meetings with the City Council of Ternopil, Universities, secondary schools, Polish Educational and Cultural Association, companies and other organizations cooperating with Polish institutions in the field of education, culture and self-governance.
The offer of UAS in Nysa gathered many interested people. It was possible not only because of the engagement of all delegates and promotional materials prepared for this event, but mainly thanks to the support received from the City of Ternopil, which not so long ago became the new partner city of Nysa.
A very-well organised programme of the event and the declarations
made during the meetings give us hope for fruitful and successful cooperation
in many fields, including education and research.
During the visit and meetings following activities have been settled:
Ternopil Educational Fairs were organized for the first time by the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Łuck and gained a big interest of both Polish Universities and participants. Despite UAS in Nysa, over 20 other Polish Universities participated in the event.
