Please find below some information about your next semester in Nysa
Arrival date
Please inform us about your arrival date (e-mail it will be enough). It's
necessary to prepare the place in dormitory for you. If you have any problem
with finding the train or bus to Nysa please do not hesitative to contact
us.
I am in Nysa... what now ?
First go to the dormitory (ul. Kościuszki 2; 48-300 Nysa) and inform reception
about your presence. You will get a room where you can rest and settle down.
In the shortest possible time please come to the International Cooperation
Office (contact details below) to get all practical information and undersign
important documents. We are going to organize for all international students
Adaptation Day on 16.02.2015, when we will have the opportunity to get to
know each other and notify all necessary information (precise programme
of meeting soon). Attendance is obligatory.

Accomodation:
As a foreign Erasmus Plus student you have possibility of being accommodated
in our dormitory (cost: 340 PLN ~ 80 EUR). The rooms are 2-3 persons with
a bathroom. Each room is mixed with polish and other international students.
Every room has an access to the fast Internet. Dormitory is placed near
to the city center, close to the Universities buildings. Please confirm
that we have to book a place for you. In case you are not interested in
staying in dormitory inform us by sending e - mail message.

Health insurance:
Students from EU get free of charge medical care, provided that they are insured
in their home countries. Further information can be obtained at:

Nor EU students must have insurance bought in a company chose by them. However
for every medial help they will have to pay here in Poland.
Weather
Poland lies in a moderate zone with mixed continental and oceanic climate
influences. Winters can be really cold (especially January and February)
with the chance of snow from November till March. Temperature reaches sometimes
-10 degrees Celsius. Spring arrives slowly in April, bringing mainly sunny
beautiful days with temperatures varying from +8 to +20°C.
